The Crimson Hawks hit the road on Tuesday for a PSAC Southwest showdown against Clarion. Clarion is 13-6 (4-2 PSAC) this year and is coming off a four-set loss against Gannon on Saturday while IUP is coming into this match off a four-set victory over Mercyhurst.

*IUP looks to continue its 14-5 start to the season, after splitting over the weekend with a loss against Gannon in a five-set match for the ages on Friday and a four-set win over Mercyhurst on Saturday

*Sr. S Katie Miller (Fort Wayne, Ind./Homestead) ranks first in the conference with 10.97 assists per set; She had a career-high 52 assists in five sets against Gannon on Friday; Shippensburg's Emily Hangen ranks second with 10.55
*Sr. MB Gabby Egler (Pittsburgh, Pa./Barack Obama Academy) has been an unsung hero for the Crimson Hawks as of late; Egler had a .316 hitting percentage, 1.22 blocks per set, 32.0 total points, and 3.56 points per set over the weekend against Gannon and Mercyhurst

*Cignetti is currently averaging 4.18 kills per set; keeping this pace would place her at fourth overall in a season in the IUP record books; Cignetti slid her way up in the record books and is currently fourth all-time in kills with 1065 through her career now on the chase for third which is held by Michelle Jones with 1395
*Miller is currently sitting at 669 assists through 19 matches; keeping this pace would help her crack the top-seven in assists in a season; with her 669 assists thus far, Miller sits in eighth place all-time in assists in IUP history with 1314, just behind Sarah Alman who had 1388 through her career
*Jr. L Jess Marut (Painesville, Ohio/Riverside) keeps climbing the record books; With her 270 digs this season, she now sits at third on the all-time IUP record books in digs with 1,472; next Marut shoots for Sarah Rosenberry who has 1,752 digs in her career
*Egler finds herself in the top-10 in blocks all-time with 259 which places her 10th in program history; next up is Danielle Ostendorf at 265
*Sr. OH Alexis Anderson (Cleveland, Ohio/Mayfield) sits with 809 career kills; which is good for 12th all-time just behind Elizabeth Sova with 875
