THE WEEKEND AT A GLANCE
The 6th-ranked Crimson Hawks host the annual IRMC/Hilton Garden Inn Classic this weekend as they square off against Urbana and Virginia State at the Kovalchick Complex. IUP will play Urbana on Friday and Virginia State on Saturday, both in the Kovalchick Complex at 7:30 p.m. The four-team classic includes Pitt-Johnstown. IUP already has two regular season games against top competition under its belt, falling to No. 20 Findlay and No. 10 Ferris State in last weekend's SCB Hall of Fame Classic in Evansville, Ind. 

NOTES/STORYLINES
• The Crimson Hawks boast a 150-29 (.838) record at home in 11 seasons under HC Joe Lombardi, including a 16-3 record last year; IUP is 84-11 (.884) in the Kovalchick Complex since 2011
• IUP has a streak of 29 straight wins in home openers dating back to the 1988-89 season; IUP's last home-opening loss came to Fairmont State (78-74) at the start of the 1987-88 season
