GRANVILLE, Ohio – Senior
Jarka Petercakova (Bratislava, Slovakia/Sport Gymnasium) was one of three Crimson Hawks to win a pair of matches as No. 28 IUP women's tennis defeated Denison by a score of 7-2 indoors on Saturday afternoon.

The win was the third straight this spring for IUP, which improved to 4-0 overall on the year. Denison, the 22nd-ranked team in Division III, fell to 0-3.
IUP grabs 2-1 lead after doubles play
The Crimson Hawks picked up wins at the top two doubles spot, with Petercakova and
Luise von Agris (Castrop-Rauxel, Germany/Adalbet-Stifter-Gymnasium) teaming for an 8-6 win at No. 1. The duo improved to 12-3 in doubles play this year, including 9-1 in their last 10 overall, and 3-1 in duals.
Raquel Gonzalez (San Sebastian, Spain/Colegio Sagrado Corazon) and
Katya Minchenkova (Mytishchi, Russia/Secondary School No.12) also picked up a 9-8 (7-5) victory at No. 2.
Petercakova picks up another win, as IUP takes five singles matches
Petercakova become the first IUP player with 10 singles wins on the year with a 7-6 (7-4), 6-1 victory over Denison's Lauren Hawley at No. 1. Petercakova is now on a three-match singles win streak and carries a 10-4 record in singles play on the year.
Also earning singles wins were Gonzalez 6-4, 6-2 at No. 3;
Rachel Wood (Nottingham, U.K./West Bridgrord) 6-7 (5-7), 6-0, 6-2 at No. 4; Minchenkova 6-1, 6-2 at No. 5; and
Mariana Valenzuela (Colombia/George Berkeley School) 6-3, 6-2 at No. 6.
