AT A GLANCE
The 28th-ranked IUP women's tennis team continues play in Florida this week as the Crimson Hawks square off against the North Georgia Nighthawks on Thursday before taking on the Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish on Friday. IUP has not played North Georgia in recent program history (dating back to the 2010-11 season). The Crimson Hawks last played the Sailfish on March 10, 2015 in Hilton Head, S.C. with Palm Beach Atlantic earning a narrow 5-4 victory. IUP is coming off a 6-3 loss to Texas A&M-Kingsville on Tuesday. North Georgia dropped an 8-1 decision to Auburn University Montgomery on Tuesday while Palm Beach Atlantic fell 5-4 to national-ranked Tarleton State on Tuesday.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR
*The Crimson Hawks are playing are playing the Nighthawks for the first time in recent program history while taking on the Sailfish for the first time since 2015.
*IUP is looking to snap a two-game skid after starting the season 5-0 for the second-straight season
*For the first time, IUP opens the spring as the highest ranked Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) team in the ITA Division II Rankings, reaching a program-best No. 28
*The Crimson Hawks also rank first in the Atlantic Region for the first time.
*Jarka Petercakova (Bratislava, Slovakia/Sport Gymnasium) continues to lead IUP as she has a team-best 11 singles victories on the season. She has an impressive 14-4 record in doubles play while teaming with Luise von Agris (Castrop-Rauxel, Germany/Adalbet-Stifter-Gymnasium)
