Riding the strength of a three-match win streak, the 35th-ranked Crimson Hawks get back to Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division play early this week with matches against Clarion and Edinboro. IUP will travel to Clarion on Tuesday afternoon and host the Fighting Scots on Wednesday. IUP, the top-ranked team in the Atlantic Region by the ITA, owns an 8-4 overall record on the year and is 2-0 in the division. Clarion is 5-5 (0-1) while Edinboro is 3-0 (0-0).
WHAT TO WATCH FOR
* The Crimson Hawks have lost just one combined point to Clarion and Edinboro since the 2011 season; IUP has defeated Clarion 9-0 in at least each of the past six seasons, while scoring five straight 9-0 wins over Edinboro to go along with an 8-1 win over the Fighting Scots last season
* Edinboro is tied for 10th in the ITA Atlantic Region, while Clarion is unranked; neither team has a player or doubles team ranked in the region
