GAME AT A GLANCE
IUP will get the chance to play at home this Friday at 4 p.m. at South Campus Field. The Crimson Hawks will take on the Clarion Golden Eagles as they try to grab their fifth win of the season.   
 
STORYLINES/WHAT TO WATCH FOR
*IUP freshman goalkeeper Madeline Smakulski (Bloomsburg, Pa./Bloomsburg Area High School) has taken the PSAC by storm, posting three shutouts in four starts; Her three shutouts are 2nd in the league, and she also ranks first in goals against (two) and third in save percentage (.895)
*Clarion's goalkeeper, Krista Mosi, is also a top contender in the PSAC leader board with a save percentage of .860 landing her at 4th in the league, and a saves per game average  of 6.13 which is 3rd in the PSAC
*Last year when these teams met IUP dominated Clarion, outshooting the Golden Eagles 16-3 which led to a 2-1 victory at home
*IUP is coming off a huge conference win against three-time defending PSAC champion East Stroudsburg 1-0; Clarion lost its last match to Daemen 1-0
*In the latest United Soccer Coaches Division II Atlantic region rankings, IUP is ranked ninth out of 10 teams; the Crimson Hawks were not ranked a week ago
