WEEKEND AT A GLANCE
The Crimson Hawks head to West Virginia to take on Wheeling Jesuit for their last non-conference match until November. The Cardinals come into this match with a 10-4 (2-0 MEC) record with four of their wins coming against PSAC represented teams in Shippensburg, Clarion, Slippery Rock, and Pitt-Johnstown.
 
STORYLINES / WHAT TO WATCH FOR
*IUP looks to continue its 11-3 start to the season, including a weekend sweep of East Stroudsburg and Kutztown to open up PSAC play; Sr. OH Natalie Cignetti (Indiana, Pa./Indiana) is still shining bright for the Crimson Hawks coming off a weekend where she compiled 31 kills (5.16 kills/set) with a .224 hitting percentage all while tallying her 1000 career kill in the process, becoming just the fifth player in program history to reach the mark
*IUP remains one of the best teams in the conference in returning serves, ranking first by giving up just 0.70 opponent aces per set; IUP is also top three in hitting percentage as team as well as assists per set
*IUP is 2-12 overall against Wheeling Jesuit in head to head matchups; Wheeling Jesuit began the year ranked 11 nationally but has since fallen out of the top-25 after dropping three of its first four matches
*Cignetti enters this weekend as the PSAC'S leader in kills per set with 4.40; Cal's Rachel Priore is second with 4.00
*Sr. S Katie Miller (Fort Wayne, Ind./Homestead) ranks first in the conference with 11.07 assists per set; She had a career-high 50 assists in five sets against Charleston; Clarion's Leah Vensel ranks second with 10.78

*Cignetti is currently averaging 4.40 kills per set; keeping this pace would place her at fourth overall in a season in the IUP record books; Cignetti slid her way up in the record books and is currently fourth all-time in kills with 1012 through her career now on the chase for third which is held by Michelle Jones with 1395
*Miller is currently sitting at 509 assists through 14 matches; keeping this pace would help her crack the top-seven in assists in a season; with her 509 assists thus far, Miller sits in eighth place all-time in assists in IUP history, just surpassing Carissa Miara
*Sr. L Jess Marut (Painesville, Ohio/Riverside) keeps climbing the record books; With her 198 digs this season, she now sits at third on the all-time IUP record books in digs with 1,400; next Marut shoots for Sarah Rosenberry who has 1,752 digs in her career
