BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – IUP junior
Katya Minchenkova finished as the singles runner-up at the 2018 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Individual Championships Monday at Bloomsburg University's Burt Reese Tennis Courts.
Minchenkova fell to Slippery Rock's Lacey Cohen 6-4, 6-3 in the morning's championship match. Cohen and Minchenkova each entered the tournament as 5-8 seeds.
Minchenkova finished her weekend with a 4-1 record in the singles bracket of 32. She also advanced to Sunday's doubles semifinals with teammate
Julia Newman.
