THE GAME AT A GLANCE
No. 8 IUP men's basketball (3-0, 0-0 PSAC) continues its early season homestand Monday evening when they host Division III Westminster (0-0, 0-0 PAC). Tipoff at the Kovalchick Complex is 7:30 p.m. This is the first of three non-conference games before the Crimson Hawks begin their PSAC slate. They're coming off a 78-65 win over Bowie State Wednesday night. Westminster opens its season this weekend. 

TIPOFF NOTES
>> The Crimson Hawks take a break from their strong non-conference schedule that has included Concord, No. 16 Virginia State and Bowie State in the season's first week.
>> This is the first ever meeting between these two schools. IUP HC Joe Lombardi's father attended Westminster
>> Westminster will be the Crimson Hawks' first matchup against a Division III school since defeating Pitt-Greensburg 91-49 on Nov. 10, 2012.
>> IUP's win over No. 16 Virginia State marked its first regular season win over a ranked opponent since defeating No. 8 Kutztown 77-76 in December 2016. 
>> Sr. F Jacobo Diaz has two double-doubles in IUP's first three games, averaging 23.0 points and 8.7 rebounds. His 30 career double-doubles is third most amongst active Division II leaders.
>> Diaz also has 829 career rebounds, the second most among current Division II players. 
>> R-Fr. G Armoni Foster came off the bench to score a season-high 11 points in 26 minutes against Bowie State, knocking down 3-4 from 3-point range. He's 4th on the team in scoring at 9.3 PPG. 
>> Sr. G Dante Lombardi dished out 8 assists with just 1 turnover against Bowie State. He has 17 assists thru three games and a 2.1 assist-turnover ratio.
