THE GAME AT A GLANCE
5th-ranked IUP women's basketball (3-0, 0-0 PSAC) hits the road for the first time this season when they travel to face Cheyney (0-4) Tuesday afternoon. Tipoff at Cope Hall is scheduled for 2 p.m. The Crimson Hawks are perfect with three straight blowouts to start the year, including a 73-46 home win over Bloomsburg last Wednesday. No longer a Division II program, Cheyney is 0-4 on the year with losses to Virginia Union, Virginia State, Norfolk State and Maryland Eastern Shore. This is the Wolves' first home game. 

TIPOFF NOTES
>> This is the first game of a home-and-home for these two programs. The Crimson Hawks will host Cheyney Wednesday, November 28 at 11 a.m. for the Education Day game.
>> IUP HC Tom McConnell is 2-0 against Cheyney with wins of 86-55 last year and 95-63 in 2014-15.
>> Though still early in the season, IUP leads the PSAC and is 6th in Division II with an 89.7 scoring average. All 12 players average at least 2.0 points per game with five averaging more than 7.0 per contest. 
>> IUP's average scoring margin is also 3rd in the country with the Crimson Hawks beating teams by an average of 37.0 points. The largest margin this year was a 95-50 (45 points) win over Alderson Broaddus in the opener. 
>> The 101 points against Ohio Valley marked the 14th time that IUP has reached the 100-point mark and is the 11th most points in a single game in school history.
>> Sr. G Carolyn Appleby scored a game-high 23 points on 9-16 shooting in IUP's 73-46 win over Bloomsburg. It was her 15th career 20-point game and first of the season.
>> Jr. F Maura D'Anna scored a career-high 18 points on 8-9 shooting in just 23 minutes against the Huskies. 
>> IUP's rebounding margin of +22.3 leads the PSAC and ranks 2nd in Division II. Three different players average better than 7 boards per game, led by Jr. G Natalie Myers with 8.3. Myers has two games of 10+ rebounds.
