THE GAME AT A GLANCE
Coming off its first loss in a month, the IUP men's basketball team (18-6, 14-3 PSAC) begins a three-day, two-game road trip starting with a matchup against Gannon (16-8, 12-6 PSAC) Monday night. Tipoff from the Hammermill Center in Erie is set for 7:30 p.m. The Crimson Hawks' seven-game win streak ended Wednesday with a 65-63 home loss to Pitt-Johnstown, while Gannon is coming off of a 72-71 road win at Edinboro.

>> IUP was the first team in the PSAC West to clinch a conference postseason berth back on Jan. 31; Four of the six playoff spots in the division have been clinched
>> This game was originally scheduled for Dec. 30 but was postponed due to inclement weather
>> The Crimson Hawks defeated Gannon 74-66 at home on Feb. 3; Jr. F Jacobo Diaz (Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain/CBA Gran Canaria) had 24 points and Sr. G Anthony Glover, Jr. (Toledo, Ohio/St. John's Jesuit) added 23 
>> Wednesday's loss to Pitt-Johnstown was the first loss at home to a divisional opponent since Mercy1hurst 65-62 on Dec. 3, 2014; It was a streak of 31 straight wins

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT THE GOLDEN KNIGHTS
>> Gannon is 16-8 overall and currently sits in third place in the PSAC West with 12-6 league record
>> After a slow start to the season, the Golden Knights are one of the hottest teams in the conference with 12 wins in their last 15 games which included a nine-game win streak
>> Always tough at home, Gannon is 10-1 this year in the Hammermill Center; That lone loss was in its home opener on Nov. 18, a 52-44 defeat at the hands of West Chester
>> Gannon leads the PSAC in defensive scoring, allowing 64.6 points per game; GU has held opponents under 70 points 19 times in 24 games
>> GU is the second best rebounding team in the PSAC with a +9.1 margin
>> Sr. G Zay Jackson leads GU with 15.0 PPG; He's averaging 17.7 points over the last six games, but managed just 11 against the Crimson Hawks on Feb. 3

IUP LOOKING TO WIN EIGHTH PSAC WEST REGULAR SEASON TITLE IN LOMBARDI ERA
>> With a 14-3 league record, IUP owns a 2.5-game lead in the PSAC West over second place Slippery Rock (12-6)
>> With the current standings, IUP needs three wins in its final five games to clinch it's third straight PSAC West crown; IUP has won seven regular season division titles in 11 seasons under Lombardi (2010-14, 16-17) 
>> The Crimson Hawks 14-3 PSAC record is the best in the conference; West Chester is 14-4
>> IUP is 13-2 in its last 15 games, including a 7-0 road record

DESPITE RECENT LOSS, IUP DEFENSE HAS BEEN ONE OF BEST IN PSAC
>> Over the last six games, the Crimson Hawks are giving up just 62.8 points per game with just one team (Seton Hill) scoring 70 points 
>> IUP has held opponents to shooting percentages of 38.7 (FG) and 25.4 (3FG) in the last six games
>> The Crimson Hawks are fourth in the PSAC this year giving up 69.9 points and second by holding opponents to a 41.1 FG%

CRIMSON HAWKS ONE OF TOP 3-POINT SHOOTING TEAMS IN REGION
>> IUP is second in the PSAC and ranks fifth in the Atlantic Region with a 38.5 3FG% (224-582)
>> The Crimson Hawks' 224 made 3s are second overall in the PSAC; their 9.3 3s made per game are also second
>> They're averaging 10.3 made 3s in the last six games, including 13 at Cal and 12 against Seton Hill

GLOVER AMONG THE TOP SCORERS IN THE PSAC
>> Sr. G Anthony Glover, Jr. (Toledo, Ohio/St. John's Jesuit) is having quite a season, leading the Crimson Hawks and ranking 9th in the PSAC with an average of 19.5 PPG
>> He knocked down the game-winning 25-footer in last Wednesday's 67-65 win at Slippery Rock
>> Glover is one of the best pure shooters in the PSAC, ranking 1st with 3.2 made 3FGs per game, 3rd with a 44.8 3FG%, 6th with an 86.7 FT% (72-83), and 16th with a 46.7 FG% (160-340)
>> He's scored 20 points 13 times this year, with three 30-point performances
>> Glover scored a career-high 34 points (8-15 FGs, 6-8 3FGs, 12-12 FTs) in an 89-85 win over Slippery Rock (Jan. 8)
>> Glover went over 1,000 points in his 3-year IUP career and has totaled 1,411 points collegiately, including 1,193 with the Crimson Hawks and 218 as a freshman at Chicago State (2014-15)

DIAZ IS NOW A 1,000-POINT SCORER, HAS 11 DOUBLE-DOUBLES THIS YEAR
>> Jr. F Jacobo Diaz (Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain/CBA Gran Canaria) joined Glover in the 1,000-point club in the Crimson Hawks' win at Slippery Rock (Jan. 31)
>> Diaz is 2nd on the team with 14.7 PPG and 4th in the PSAC with 9.8 RPG
>> He has 11 double-doubles in 24 games this year, bringing his career total to 27 (14 last year, two as a frosh)
>> Diaz was one of 100 players named to the Bevo Francis Award Watch List, which goes to the top small college player in the nation; It's the second straight year he was named to the watch list
>> Diaz averaged a double-double with 14.4 PPG and 10.0 RPG in 2016-17; He was the first IUP player since Darryl Webb (Elkridge, Md./Long Reach) in 2010-11 (17.4 PPG, 10.1 RPG) to average a double-double for an entire season

LOMBARDI NEARING 1,000 CAREER POINTS, ONE OF TOP ASSIST MEN IN THE PSAC
>> Lombardi enters with 957 career points, just 43 shy of joining Glover and Diaz in the 1,000-point club
>> He's averaging 13.5 PPG over the last eight games with a pair of 20-point performances, including a season-high 23 points against Seton Hill
>> Lombardi is 3rd in the PSAC with 5.1 assists per game, dishing out a season-high 10 against Gannon
