AT A GLANCE
The Crimson Hawks open their 2018 spring schedule, heading on the road to Ohio this weekend to compete against Oberlin College and Case Western Reserve. IUP's first match is set for Saturday, February 17, against Oberlin College and the second is scheduled on Sunday with Case Western Reserve. Saturday's match starts at 4:00 p.m. and Sunday's is at 11:00 a.m.
 
MATCH NOTES
*The Crimson Hawks ended their 2017 fall season beating the Kutztown Golden Bears in a dual match, 6-3 at Kutztown
*All seven women return this spring, including seniors Louise von Agris and Jarka Petercakova (Bratislava, Slovakia/Sport Gymnasium); The Crimson Hawks introduce a new member to the squad, freshman Julia Newman (Tauranga, New Zealand/Tauranga Girls' College) from Tauranqa, New Zealand
*IUP continues on the road, traveling to Monroeville, PA and Hilton Head, SC throughout the next couple of weeks; The Crimson Hawk's first home match isn't until March 23, where they will compete against Goldey-Beacom and continue playing at home over the course of seven days
*Last spring, IUP competed in the 2017 NCAA Division II Championships against then-ranked fifth Midwestern State in Altamonte Springs, FL; The Crimson Hawks fell to Midwestern State, 5-0
*Both Oberlin College and Case Western Reserve have already started their spring season; Oberlin just recently picked up a victory at home, beating Otterbein University 9-0; Case Western also just recently added a win, beating Denison at home, 8-1
