The top-seeded IUP men's basketball team (22-7, 18-4 PSAC) opens postseason play this week as they host Edinboro (17-10, 13-9 PSAC) in the PSAC quarterfinals Wednesday night. Tipoff at the Kovalchick Complex is set for 7:30 p.m. The Crimson Hawks won the PSAC West regular season title and are on a four-game win streak. Edinboro is the four-seed and advanced with a 77-67 win over Pitt-Johnstown in Monday's first round.

>> Glover is one of the best pure shooters in the PSAC, ranking 1st with 3.4 made 3FGs per game, 2nd with a 45.2 3FG%, 9th with an 84.5 FT% (82-97), and 15th with a 47.6 FG% (201-422)
>> He's scored 20 points 16 times this year, with three 30-point performances
>> Glover scored a career-high 34 points (8-15 FGs, 6-8 3FGs, 12-12 FTs) in an 89-85 win over Slippery Rock (Jan. 8)

Jacobo Diaz (Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain/CBA Gran Canaria) went over 1,000 career points in IUP's win at Slippery Rock (Jan. 31)
>> Diaz is 2nd on the team with 14.7 PPG and 4th in the PSAC with 9.7 RPG
>> He has 13 double-doubles in 29 games this year, bringing his career total to 29 (14 last year, two as a frosh)
>> Diaz was one of 100 players named to the Bevo Francis Award Watch List, which goes to the top small college player in the nation; It's the second straight year he was named to the watch list
>> The reigning PSAC West Player of the Year, Diaz averaged 14.4 PPG and 10.0 RPG in earning All-American and All-Atlantic Region honors; He was a preseason All-American this season
LOMBARDI ALSO REACHED 1,000 CAREER POINTS, IS ONE OF TOP ASSIST MEN IN THE PSAC
