INDIANA, Pa. — The IUP football program is holding a one day prospect camp Saturday, June 2, for high school student-athletes. The camp will focus on speed and agility training, as well as, one-on-one coaching from the football staff.
About the Camp
The IUP Football Prospect Camp is designed for high school student-athletes who wish to receive coaching and evaluation from the IUP Football Staff. The first session of the camp will consist of a speed and agility instruction. These drills are to teach each student-athlete the importance of technique and form in all aspects of speed and agility. The second session of the camp will consist of individual group coaching sessions based on position. These will be drills and instructions just as if they were a member of our football program. The final session of the camp will consist of group instruction and coaching. This session is designed to instruct the athletes on how to work within a team and in a competitive setting.
Participation
This camp is for 10th – 12th graders of all skill levels.

10:30 – 11:15 a.m.: Check In – Receive camp shirt and number
11:25 a.m.: Introduction of Staff
11:35 a.m.: Group Warm Up / Stretch
11:55 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.: Speed/Agility Stations and Testing
12:50 – 1:25 p.m.: Positional Specific Individual Period
1:25 – 2:00 p.m.: 1on1/Group Competition Period
2:00 p.m.: #ALLIN w/Coach Tortorella

About IUP Football
The IUP football team put together one of the best season's in program history, finishing 13-1 overall for the 2017 season. The Crimson Hawks won the PSAC title and advanced to the national semifinals for the first time since 1999. Seven players earned All-American honors and head coach
Paul Tortorella was named the Division II Co-Coach of the Year by the Don Hansen Football Committee.
