THE WEEKEND AT A GLANCE
IUP women's tennis (12-3, 3-0 PSAC West) heads to Ohio for a pair of weekend matches against top 50 opponents in No. 22 Grand Valley State (20-3, 10-0 GLIAC) and No. 44 Wayne State (14-8, 8-2 GLIAC). The matches will be held at the LaTuchie Tennis Center in Stow. The Crimson Hawks will play GVSU Saturday at 2:45 p.m. and Wayne State at 1:45 p.m. Sunday. IUP has won five straight matches by 9-0 decisions, including Monday against Clarion. GVSU has won six of its last seven, including back-to-back 5-2 wins over Division I teams Nebraska-Omaha and Valparaiso, and Wayne State has dropped four straight.

Katya Minchenkova (Mytishchi, Russia/Secondary School No.12) improved her personal win streak to a team-best eight straight singles matches with a 6-2, 6-1 victory at the third spot against Clarion
