IUP women's tennis (12-5, 3-0 PSAC West) gets ready to host conference opponent, California Vulcans (0-3, 0-3 PSAC West) Tuesday, April 10. The match is scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m. at Maple Street Courts. The Crimson Hawks have lost two straight, falling to No. 22 Grand Valley State (7-2) and No. 44 Wayne State (6-3) this past weekend. On Tuesday, the IUP women's tennis team will be honoring seniors Jarka Petercakova (Bratislava, Slovakia/Sport Gymnasium) and Luise von Agris (Castrop-Rauxel, Germany/Adalbet-Stifter-Gymnasium), as they celebrate Senior Day.

>> IUP's pair of losses this weekend ended their six-match win streak; The Crimson Hawks are tied for first in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) with Merychurst, both holding 3-0 conference records in the west
>> Over the weekend, Luise von Agris (Castrop-Rauxel, Germany/Adalbet-Stifter-Gymnasium) picked up two victories, including an 8-6 win with Jarka Petercakova (Bratislava, Slovakia/Sport Gymnasium) at first doubles over Wayne State, along with also grabbing a win at second singles; The two also picked up wins at the top two singles spots, as Petercakova won at No. 1 6-0, 6-4 and von Agris won 6-0, 6-3 at No. 2 against Grand Valley State

>> Luise von Agris (Castrop-Rauxel, Germany/Adalbet-Stifter-Gymnasium); This season, von Agris broke the IUP career combined wins record at 190 during the Crimson Hawks' 9-0 win over Slippery Rock, March 31; She surpassed the three-year old record of 189 held by two-time PSAC West Athlete of the Year Tanya Timko; von Agris broke Timko's singles win record prior too, as she finished with 91; She has earned PSAC Athlete of the Week award twice in her career; von Agris heads into Tuesdays match in singles with a 21-5 overall, 15-2 dual and 3-0 conference records; Playing all four seasons, von Agris ranks first in program history with 94 singles wins, third in doubles wins with 101 (she is on pace to break Timko's doubles record of 103 wins) and first in combined wins (as mentioned previously) with 195; von Agris is also a two time first-team All PSAC-West award winner
>> Jarka Petercakova (Bratislava, Slovakia/Sport Gymnasium); So far this season, Petercakova holds a 12-4 overall, 12-3 dual and 3-0 conference records in singles; Despite playing just two full seasons, overall Petercakova has 67 total singles wins (which is tied for 9th in IUP history) and ranks sixth in the program with 84 doubles wins and a combined 151 wins; Petercakova is a three time first-team All-PSAC West award winner
>> As double's partners, von Agris and Petercakova led IUP to its first Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) championship in program history in 2017; The duo also won the PSAC double title back in the fall of 2016; So far this season, the dynamic duo is 13-3 overall and 3-0 against conference opponents
