GAME AT A GLANCE
The IUP women's soccer team (0-0, 0-0 PSAC) opens their 2018 season on the road with a pair of matches against conference rivals Pitt-Johnstown (0-0, 0-0 PSAC) and Bloomsburg (0-0, 0-0 PSAC). The Crimson Hawks face off against the Mountain Cats on Thursday at 4 p.m. at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Fields and will square off against the Huskies on Saturday at 3 p.m. at Steph Pettit Stadium.
 
NOTES
>> IUP is coming off of a second straight PSAC tournament appearance, earning the fifth seed in the conference tournament with an 11-5 record.
>> IUP returns 25 players from last year's squad including defensive stalwart and All-Atlantic Region senior defender Hannah Stoof.
>> The Crimson Hawks were picked to finish sixth in the league in the PSAC preseason coaches' poll; UPJ was picked 16th.
>> The Crimson Hawks lost their home opener to UPJ last season falling to the Mountain Cats 2-1 in overtime.
>> IUP holds a 4-1 record against UPJ over the past 5 seasons, and is 2-3 against Bloomsburg over that same period.
