IUP women's volleyball (4-10, 0-2 PSAC) hosts a PSAC-Mountain East Conference crossover against 19th-ranked Wheeling Jesuit Tuesday night. The opening serve at the Memorial Field House is set for 6 p.m. The Crimson Hawks look to bounce back after a tough opening weekend of PSAC play, which included home losses to Shippensburg and Pitt-Johnstown, while Wheeling Jesuit has won three straight included a four-set win over UPJ.
NOTES
>> The Crimson Hawks fell to Wheeling Jesuit twice last season, including what ended up being the season finale on the road in the NCAA Atlantic Region semifinals. WJU leads the all-time series 14-2.
>> IUP's matchup with Wheeling Jesuit marks the third against a top 25 opponent this season. The Crimson Hawks lost both matches to Nebraska-Kearney, which held No. 6 and No. 1 rankings prior to game time.
>> Freshman Kylie Osborn posted a weekend-best 11 kills in IUP's three-set loss to UPJ Saturday. She leads the team and ranks third in the PSAC Southwest Division with 3.05 kills per set this year.
>> Senior libero Jess Marut had 25 digs over the weekend. She's seventh in the PSAC and 29th in Division II with 5.26 digs per set.
>> Sophomore Jasmine Raudys is tied for 12th in the PSAC with 0.85 blocks per set and also leads IUP with 31 total blocks on the season.
