WEEKEND AT A GLANCE
IUP women's volleyball (4-11, 0-2 PSAC) goes on the road this weekend for a pair of matches against PSAC Central opponents. The Crimson Hawks face Bloomsburg Friday night and Lock Haven Saturday afternoon. Game times are 7 p.m. and 1 p.m., respectively. All teams will look to improve on their 0-2 conference records.
NOTES
>> The Crimson Hawks will meet with Lock Haven for their 38th time. IUP has won the last two meetings but Lock Haven holds a 30-8 lead in the all-time series record. The Crimson Hawks and the Bloomsburg Huskies will meet for the first time. This is the Huskies inaugural season as a varsity program.
>> Seniors Jess Marut and Breanna Damiani combined for 33 digs against Wheeling Jesuit. It was a season-high night for Damiani with 14.
>> Marut is fifth in the PSAC and second in the Southwest Division with 5.33 digs per set.
>> Junior Jessica Ignace led the Crimson Hawks offensive effort with nine kills. Ignace added one block assist, while sophomore Dominica Niccolai and freshman Kylie Osborn added three block assists each.
>> Setter Dominica Niccolai had 23 assists and two service aces in the Crimson Hawks loss to Wheeling Jesuit.
