INDIANA, Pa. – The IUP women's volleyball team dropped its second match of the weekend, a three-set decision to 21st-ranked Gannon Saturday afternoon at the Memorial Field House.
The Golden Knights won by scores of 25-19, 25-18 and 25-20 to improve to 16-1 overall and 5-1 in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC). The loss dropped the Crimson Hawks to 6-13 overall and 2-3 in the conference.

Madi Burns each had a team-high seven kills for the Crimson Hawks. Sophomore
Jasmine Raudys had four total blocks, including two solo, as IUP totaled 7.0 team blocks on the afternoon.
With the exception of giving up the first point in each of the first two sets, the Golden Knights never trailed in the match. The Crimson Hawks made a run late in the third set, overcoming a seven-point deficit to come back to within two at 22-20, but Gannon finished out the rest of the set for the win.
It was the Crimson Hawks fifth match this year against a ranked opponent, falling to Nebraska Kearney (twice), Lewis, and Wheeling Jesuit.
