The weekend at a glance
IUP women's volleyball (2-6, 0-0 PSAC) travels to California, Pa. for the Vulcan Invitational. IUP is one of eight teams attending the tournament which includes No.1 Nebraska-Kearney. IUP dropped a 3-setter to Nebraska-Kearney during their trip to the Cougar Classic in late August. They will look redeem themselves on Friday evening.

IUP has not lost to Notre Dame (Ohio) in the last six meetings. IUP also leads its series with West Virginia Wesleyan (10-4) including 3-0 shutout last season.

Notes
>> The Crimson Hawks went 2-2 last weekend when they hosted the Quality Inn Invitational, including a 3-1 win over Holy Family and 3-0 victory over Roberts Wesleyan to cap the weekend.
>> Freshman standout Kylie Osborn led the way with 50 kills and 3.57 kills/set, both team bests. She currently leads the team with 86 kills on the season.
>> Senior Libero Jess Marut posted a season-high 34 digs and 4 assists in the 3-2 loss to West Liberty last Friday.
>> Junior Jessica Ignace and sophomore Jasmine Raudys also had good weekend performances with 35 kills and 14 kills, respectively. Raudys also recorded 4 aces in the 3-0 win over Roberts Wesleyan.
