INDIANA, Pa. – The IUP women's volleyball team fell to visiting East Stroudsburg in three sets Saturday afternoon at the Kovalchick Convention & Athletic Complex.
The Warriors took the match with scores of 25-15, 25-17, and 25-22. The Crimson Hawks split their home weekend and fell to 3-12 overall and 2-4 in the PSAC.
Senior
Jessica Ignace had a team-high eight kills while freshman
Nicole Peterson added seven. Junior
Jasmine Raudys added five kills and four block assists.
East Stroudsburg (15-4, 6-1 PSAC) outhit the Crimson Hawks .234 – .061 on the day. Freshman
Celine Blon had 28 digs and classmate
Leah Henderson had 23 assists and 10 digs.
Up next
The Crimson Hawks look forward to three matches next week, starting with a home contest against Pitt-Johnstown (7-8, 0-6) Tuesday night.
