IUP Women's Volleyball hosts Pitt-Johnstown before traveling to take on Lock Haven and Bloomsburg
IUP women's volleyball (3-12, 2-4 PSAC) hosts Pitt-Johnstown before traveling to Lock Haven and Bloomsburg on the weekend. The Crimson Hawks host Pitt-Johnstown Tuesday night then visit Lock Haven Friday night before wrapping up the weekend in Bloomsburg playing at noon on Saturday. IUP split their matches this past weekend, defeating Kutztown in three sets and losing to a tough East Stroudsburg team in similar fashion.

QUICK HITS
>> The Crimson Hawks had an impressive showing this past Friday night, beating Kutztown in three sets. Nicole Peterson finished with 12 kills. Jessica Ignace put 10 kills and 6 blocks on the board. Lizzie Virgin had a complete game with 7 kills, 2 aces, and 2 blocks.
>> IUP comes into this week ranked 12 in the PSAC for blocks per set with 1.65 as well as being ranked 15 in kills per set with 10.36.
>> Kylie Osborn and Jessica Ignace look to build off their strong peformance last year against Pitt-Johnstown, combining for 16 kills and 3 blocks. Anna Johns for UPJ ranks #11 in the PSAC for blocks per set with 0.96.
>> The Crimson Hawks look to continue their winning ways against Lock Haven coming into Friday's match on a 3 game win streak against LHU. Breanna McDonald is ranked #12 in the PSAC for kills per set with 3.07 and ranked #11 for points per set with 3.62
>> Could another 3-set win be in store against Bloomsburg? The Crimson Hawks made quick work of the Huskies last year. Jessica Ignace finished with 9 kills and 4 blocks.
