THE GAME AT A GLANCE
No. 15 IUP women's basketball (5-1, 2-0 PSAC) heads out onto the road for the first time this season with a Wednesday afternoon non-conference matchup against Salem (1-4). Tipoff in West Virginia is set for 3 p.m. The Crimson Hawks enter the game after sweeping their conference-opening weekend with wins over Bloomsburg (66-52) and East Stroudsburg (65-50). Salem has dropped four straight games and is coming off an 81-59 loss at Cedarville Saturday. 

TIPOFF NOTES
>> Jr. G Justina Mascaro averaged a team-best 15.0 PPG in IUP's wins last weekend, posting a season-high 21 points Saturday against Bloomsburg. Sr. F Lexi Griggs led the offense Sunday by tying a season-high with 17 points against ESU in the NCAA Division II Showcase matchup.
>> So. G Mikayla Lovelace averaged 11.5 PPG and 6.0 RPG off the bench over the weekend.
>> The Crimson Hawks moved up in both national polls Tuesday. They've been ranked in 38 straight top 25 releases dating back to the final one of the 2016-17 season.
>> IUP continues to be one of the top shooting teams in the country, leading the PSAC and ranking 4th in Division II with a 51.6 FG%. IUP has converted 50% or better four times including a season-best 56.8% against ESU. 
>> The Crimson Hawks are also shooting 42.5% from beyond the arc, 6th in Division II. Sr. G Natalie Myers is among the best in the country with a 58.6 3FG% (17-29). 
>> IUP is 26-4 in non-conference regular season games in the HC Tom McConnell era, including a 5-1 mark on the road. That only loss came at Chowan (69-67) during the 2015-16 season.
>> IUP holds a 5-0 record against Salem winning by an average of 35.6 points. The last meeting came at the beginning of the 2008-09 season with IUP winning 108-21
