THE GAME AT A GLANCE
No. 6 IUP men's basketball (5-0, 2-0 PSAC) returns to its non-conference schedule over the holiday break to host Felician (2-3, 0-0 CACC) in the IUP Thanksgiving Classic at the Kovalchick Complex. Tipoff Saturday is 3 p.m. The Crimson Hawks enter the matchup having swept their conference-opening weekend with wins over Bloomsburg (88-73) and East Stroudsburg (80-56). Coincidentally, Felician's last two games came against the same opponents, dropping an 84-83 decision to the Huskies and losing by 24 points at ESU.

TIPOFF NOTES
>> Sr. G Malik Miller and So. G Armoni Foster led the way in the win over Bloomsburg with a combined 39 points, including a season-high 22 by Miller. Unfortunately, Sr. F Tommy Demogerontas was lost due to injury.
>> IUP received contributions from several players in its 24-point win over ESU in the NCAA Division II Showcase. Jr. G Anthony White scored a career-high 16 points off the bench while reserve Fr. F Ethan Porterfield added 14.
>> Porterfield's 14 points were the most by an IUP true freshman since Malik Miller tallied 15 points in the NCAA Atlantic Region semifinal loss to Fairmont State in 2016-17 season.
>> Jr. G Shawndale Jones tallied his second double-double (13, 10) of the year while making his first start Sunday.
>> IUP improved to 171-21 (.891) at home over the last 12 seasons, including a 23-2 mark since last year.
>> The Crimson Hawks have won 11 of their last 12 home non-conference matchups, including 10 straight victories dating back to the 2017-18 season. IUP's last home non-league loss came to Virginia State (69-64) in Nov. 2017.
>> This is the second meeting between these two schools, with IUP winning 73-65 in the IRMC Classic in 2009-10.
>> The Crimson Hawks moved up to No. 6 in both national polls this week. IUP was ranked in the top 10 each week a year ago, including a three-week stretch at No. 2 to finish out the year.
>> IUP has won 14 straight Thanksgiving holiday games dating back to the 2011-12 season. The last loss came to West Virginia Wesleyan (64-57) in the 2011 IRMC/Urgi Care Classic.
