THE GAME AT A GLANCE
No. 15 IUP women's basketball (6-1, 2-0 PSAC) looks to extend is four-game win streak with its final non-conference game of the season in the national's capital Tuesday night. The Crimson Hawks will faceoff against the University of D.C. with a tip time of 6 p.m. IUP is coming of its first road game of the year, a 65-54 victory at Salem in West Virginia last Wednesday to improve to 6-1 overall. The Firebirds enter the matchup with a 3-5 overall record after a 64-59 win at Nyack Saturday. 

TIPOFF NOTES
>> Sr. G Natalie Myers had a career day with 26 points and 11 rebounds in the Crimson Hawks' 11-point win at Salem. In addition to her career-high point total, she also hit career-bests with 10 FGs and 6 3FGs made. 
>> This is the second of five straight road games for the Crimson Hawks as they won't play in the Kovalchick Complex until January. IUP opened the year with six straight home games (5-1). 
>> IUP leads the all-time series with UDC 5-2, last meeting in a home-and-home series at the beginning of the 2010-11 season. IUP lost on the road (69-61) and won at home (55-53). 
>> IUP is 27-4 in non-conference regular season games in the HC Tom McConnell era, including a 6-1 mark on the road. That only loss came at Chowan (69-67) during the 2015-16 season.
>> IUP has been ranked in 38 straight top 25 releases dating back to the final one of 2016-17. This week's top 25 rankings will be released Tuesday afternoon.
>> The Crimson Hawks lead the PSAC in five categories, including FG% (.512), defensive FG% (.339), rebound margin (+12.7), scoring defense (52.9), and scoring margin (+24.1).
>> Myers is 5th in Division II with a 60.5 3FG%, 13th with 23 3FGs made and 16th with 3.29 3FGs made per game.
>> Sr. F Lexi Griggs leads the PSAC and ranks 14th in Division II with a 63.9 FG%.
