THE GAME AT A GLANCE
No. 13-ranked IUP women's basketball (7-1, 2-0 PSAC) gets back to conference play Saturday with a road trip to Mansfield (2-4, 0-2 PSAC). Tipoff at Decker Gymnasium is 1 p.m. The Crimson Hawks extended their win streak to five with a hard fought 39-34 win at the University of D.C. Tuesday night. The Mounties head into their Wednesday night home game against Roberts Wesleyan with three straight losses and haven't played since dropping road games at Seton Hill (71-60) and Cal U (70-42) during PSAC opening weekend.

TIPOFF NOTES
>> IUP is coming off its lowest scoring output in program history as the 39 points tied the mark set in February 2004 in a 54-39 loss to Clarion. The 74 combined points Tuesday night is also a program record for fewest scored in a game by both teams.
>> The Crimson Hawks did limit UDC to a 20.8 FG%, the lowest by an IUP opponent since Ursuline managed a 20.5 FG% in a 73-24 victory in November 2012.
>> It was the second game this year IUP limited an opponent to under 40 points. The Crimson Hawks lead the PSAC and rank 15th in Division II with 50.5 points allowed per game
>> R-Jr. F Maura D'Anna just missed her first double-double of the season with 9 points and 9 rebounds.
>> This is the third of five straight road games to wrap up the 2019 calendar year for the Crimson Hawks as they won't play in the Kovalchick Complex until January. IUP opened the year with six straight home games (5-1).
>> IUP is 16-1 all-time in its series with Mansfield, including 11 straight wins. That one loss came in Mansfield on December 17, 2003 (71-63).
>> The Crimson Hawks have won 10 straight games against PSAC East teams since the start of last season. Their last loss to a cross-divisional foe came to Millersville (89-86, 3OT) in the 2018 PSAC semifinals.
>> IUP has been ranked in 39 straight top 25 releases dating back to the final one of 2016-17.
