INDIANA, Pa. – IUP and the Kovalchick Convention & Athletic Complex will be the home of the 2019 NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Atlantic Region Championships. Games are scheduled Saturday and Sunday, March 16-17, and Tuesday March 19.
IUP earned an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament with its Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) championship win Sunday afternoon, and was named the top seed in the Atlantic Region with a 29-2 record when the field of 64 was announced that night.
Tickets for the Atlantic Region Championships go on sale Tuesday, March 12 at 10 a.m. at the Kovalchick Complex Box Office. All tickets will be general admission only with no reserved seating. You can also purchase tickets online at IUPtix.com or via phone at 1-800-514-3849. Additional fees may apply.
For each game during the tournament, 150 seats directly behind each team bench will be reserved for that school's fans. Those fans will be asked to relocate at the conclusion of their game to make way for the next game's fans. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
Tickets will be sold for each day's games. For example, a Saturday ticket holder will need one ticket to see all four first round games. A separate ticket will be sold for Sunday's semifinal games with a third for Tuesday's championship.
Per NCAA regulation, there is absolutely no re-entry.
