IUP women's tennis (3-5, 0-0 PSAC West) opens its home and divisional schedule this weekend when they host Seton Hill (4-6, 0-0 PSAC West) Saturday at Maple Street Courts. Match time is scheduled for 1 p.m. The Crimson Hawks went 1-3 against a challenging spring break schedule, getting a 6-1 win over Chowan. The Griffins are coming off three straight losses in Orlando.

NOTES
>> Julia Newman and Mariana Valenzuela went 2-2 at No. 2 doubles during spring break and are 5-2 together in dual matches.
>> IUP has a combined doubles record of 13-11 in duals and have taken the doubles point in four of six possible matches. 
>> Newman enters the divisional opener with two straight singles wins and leads the team with 14 overall wins and four dual match victories. 
>> IUP has won five straight PSAC West openers dating back to the 2013-14 season and are 34-6 against divisional opponents since the 2011-12 season. 
>> IUP has three players ranked among the top 15 singles players in the Atlantic Region according to the ITA: Katya Minchenkova (6th), Newman (9th) and Laura Dunarova (13th).
