INDIANA, Pa. – The 24th-ranked Crimson Hawks put together one of the best offensive performances in school history, totaling 608 yards and scoring 11 touchdowns in a 77-14 drubbing of visiting Lock Haven Saturday afternoon at George P. Miller Stadium.
The 77 points are the second most in school history behind the 80 points scored against Cheyney in 2007.
IUP quarterbacks
Quinton Maxwell and
Jalen Reese combined to throw for 389 yards and seven touchdowns while seven players totaled 219 yards and four touchdowns on the ground.
The seven passing touchdowns are an IUP team record and the 389 passing yards were the eighth most in school history.
It's the 11th time that IUP has hit 600 total yards in its history, with the 608 today the most since going for 640 against Seton Hill in 2017.
Senior kicker
Dillon Sarka hit 11 extra points, breaking the IUP single game record.
The Crimson Hawks scored twice in the first quarter and four more times in the second to take a 42-0 lead into the break. Maxwell played just the first half under center, going 14-of-16 for 200 yards and three touchdowns. He also had a 22-yard rushing touchdown for his second straight 4-score game.
Senior back
Samir Bullock rushed for 48 yards and a pair of scores on just six carries in the opening half. He broke into the top five in IUP history with just over 2,800 career rushing yards.
Reese entered in the second half and led five more IUP scoring drives – two in the third and three more in the fourth. Reese was nearly perfect, going 11-of-12 for 189 yards and four touchdowns. Freshman back
Adam Houser capped the game with his first career rushing touchdown, going in from four yards out.
Senior wideout
Dwine Walls led all receivers with five catches and 108 yards, including a 34-yard touchdown. Also catching touchdowns were senior receivers

Zac Kelly (4), sophomore receiver
Duane Brown (18), and sophomore tight ends
Grant Smith (8) and
Cam Suman (42).
The Crimson Hawks improved to 3-0 with their win as they look to open PSAC Western Division play next weekend. Lock Haven fell to 1-2.

The Crimson Hawks are back on the road next week as they open their division schedule against Mercyhurst (2-1) in Erie. Game time is 1 p.m.
