No. 11-ranked IUP women's basketball (11-1, 6-0 PSAC) heads into divisional play with a home matchup against Mercyhurst (3-9, 3-3 PSAC) Monday night. Tipoff at the Kovalchick Complex is set for 5:30 p.m. The Crimson Hawks bring a nine-game win streak into their PSAC West opener after a thrilling 64-51 comeback win over Lock Haven Friday night. The Lakers have lost four-in-a-row, including an 85-62 home defeat to Seton Hill Friday.  

TIPOFF NOTES
>> The Crimson Hawks are coming off the biggest comeback of the HC Tom McConnell era, rallying from 13 points back early in the third quarter to outscore Lock Haven 46-22 in the second half. 
>> It's also the biggest since coming back from 17 down against Clarion on Feb 7, 2010. 
>> Jr. G Justina Mascaro scored 18 of her game-high 22 points in the second half, nearly missing her second straight double-double with 9 rebounds. Sr. G Natalie Myers had 17 points. 
>> Mascaro has three straight 20-point games, averaging 25.6 points and 8.3 rebounds in that span. 
>> The win was the ninth straight for the Crimson Hawks, whose 11 overall wins are the most in the PSAC. 
>> This is the sixth win streak of at least nine games in the McConnell era, including four in the last three years. 
>> The Crimson Hawks have held opponents under 60 points in nine of their 12 games this year. 
>> IUP is 5-1 in PSAC West openers under McConnell, including three straight wins - all over Gannon. The last division-opening loss came to Gannon in Erie (81-66) on December 1, 2015. 
>> McConnell is 10-3 lifetime against Mercyhurst, including a 7-0 record at home. Those seven wins have come by an average of 22.0 points per game, including an 81-56 win last February. 
>> The Crimson Hawks are 6-1 at home this season and 73-8 (.901) over the last six years. 
>> IUP is 17-3 in January games over the last three years, including a 66-61 loss at Mercyhurst in 2018.
