No. 8-ranked IUP women's basketball (12-1, 7-0 PSAC) will play its first road divisional game of the season when they head to Slippery Rock (3-10, 1-6 PSAC) Wednesday evening. Tipoff at the Morrow Field House is 5:30 p.m. The Crimson Hawks bring the conference's longest win streak into this matchup after posting their 10th straight victory with a 61-55 comeback win over Mercyhurst Monday night. The Rock has dropped two straight in 2020, including a 68-59 loss to No. 15 Cal U Monday. 

TIPOFF NOTES
>> The Crimson Hawks have been forced to rally from halftime deficits in each of the last two games, coming back from 8 points down at half to outscore Mercyhurst by 14 in the second half to get the win.
>> Jr. G Justina Mascaro scored battled through an injury to her face to score a game-high 20 points, including 12 in the second half. Sr. G Natalie Myers just missed a double-double with 12 points and 9 rebounds.
>> On Tuesday Mascaro was named PSAC West Athlete of the Week for the second straight time. She averaged 21.0 PPG and 6.5 RPG, with 30 of her 42 total points scored coming in IUP's two second half comebacks. 
>> Mascaro has four straight 20-point games becoming the first IUP player since Lindsay Stamp (2014-15) to score at least 20 four consecutive games. Mascaro is averaging 24.3 PPG and 7.3 RPG during that span. 
>> IUP's 12 wins are tied for the most (Cal U) in the PSAC. IUP is the only team with an undefeated league record.
>> This is the fifth win streak of at least 10 games in the HC Tom McConnell era, with one coming in each of the last four seasons. McConnell's longest win streaks have been 15 games to start the last two years. 
>> McConnell is 12-0 against Slippery Rock, including 6-0 at Morrow Field House. 
>> IUP leads the PSAC and ranks 12th in Division II allowing 52.7 PPG. SRU has been held to 60 or fewer points in eight of its 13 games and are 13th in the league averaging 67.4 PPG. 
>> The Rock is 0-3 in its own gym this year, dropping games to Shippensburg, Lock Haven and Cal U.
