INDIANA, Pa. – The IUP Athletic Department, in conjunction with SIDEARM Sports, unveiled its redesigned website IUPAthletics.com Tuesday morning. The new-look site came after IUP extended its partnership with SIDEARM, the industry leader in college athletics websites. 

This is the third contract extension as IUP has chosen SIDEARM as its website provider since 2008.

"The IUP Athletic Department is proud to continue our partnership with SIDEARM Sports," said Ryan Rebholz, Director of Sports Information. "SIDEARM continues to be the leader in website development, innovation, and design, making it a no-brainer to continue to align our brands."

SIDEARM's responsive design provides user friendly accessibility across all device platforms that provide an enhanced experience for IUP student-athletes, coaches, parents, alumni and fans. IUPAthletics.com is powered by the same technology and tools utilized by the majority of NCAA Division I programs and conferences, including the ACC, American, Atlantic 10, Big 10, Big XII and Big East conferences.

"I am extremely excited about SIDEARM's newest design for IUPAthletics.com," said Rebholz. "This is my fifth redesign with SIDEARM, including the third at IUP, and I have never been more thrilled with an overall look and feel of a website."

Some improvements include:
-    Re-imagined top navigation with more links and information
-    An increase in viewable story headlines for main and sport pages
-    Additional promotional banners to showcase department and program highlights
-    A social media wall that displays posts from IUP Athletics accounts, including Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, as well as photo galleries
-    Easy links to the official apparel providers of IUP Athletics, including the IUP Co-op Store and BSN's Nike Sideline Shop
-    Student-athletes tell why they chose the university in our "Why IUP" section
