ORLANDO, Fla. –
Katya Minchenkova picked up a win at the second singles spot but the Crimson Hawks couldn't get past Navy with a 6-1 loss at the USTA National Campus Sunday night.
Minchenkova won her fifth consecutive singles decision this spring, defeating Katreina Corpuz 2-6, 7-6 (8-6), 10-8. It was her seventh straight dual win going back to the fall as she improved to 13-5 overall on the year.
The Crimson Hawks (5-2) played the Division I school tough, dropping doubles results by scores of 6-3, 6-4 and 6-2.
Laura Dunarova also went three sets in singles play but fell by scores of 5-7, 6-4, 7-10.
