SALEM, W.Va. - All 16 Crimson Hawks who saw the floor were credited with points as the IUP women's volleyball team swept Salem in non-conference road action Tuesday night.
It was the third straight win for the Hawks, who took a break from divisional play after two wins over the weekend. IUP is now 15-13 overall on the year, more than doubling its combined win total (14) from the 2018 and 2019 seasons.
Of the 16 Hawks who scored points, 12 were credited with kills as everyone contributed to the mid-week victory. IUP cruised with winning scores of 25-14, 25-11 and 25-17.
Gia Cannavino and
Kylie Osborn each had a team-high six kills and hit .364 and .444, respectively.
Grace Mangapora led with eight points on five kills and three service aces.
Bailey Flowerdew had four aces and seven digs while
Maggie Samijlenko dished out 18 assists with seven digs and an ace.
IUP hit .255 on the night compared to Salem's .074, and totaled 11 aces.
