Foster tallies another triple-double in New Year's Eve blowout

INDIANA, Pa. - Junior guard Armoni Foster tallied his second triple-double of the season to lead the 10th-ranked IUP men's basketball team to a 107-55 win over visiting Pitt-Greensburg at the Kovalchick Complex on New Year's Eve.

Foster finished with 25 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists on the afternoon. He shot 9-of-18 from the field, knocking down four 3-pointers, and went 3-of-5 from the foul line. He added two blocks and a steal.

His two triple-doubles leads Division II and he's one of only two players in the entire NCAA - Divisions I, II, III - to have multiple triple-doubles on the year. It was also his fourth 20-point game in the last seven outings.

Foster was one of five Crimson Hawks in double-figures Friday. Fifth-year forward Tommy Demogerontas scored 19 points to go along with nine rebounds, sophomore forward Ethan Porterfield had 13 points and nine boards in just 13 minutes, junior guard Dave Morris scored 13 points and junior post Ousmane Diop went for 10 points, eight rebounds and four blocks off the bench.

The Hawks improved to 10-1 on the year and wrapped up their non-conference slate at a perfect 6-0.
