INDIANA, Pa. - The IUP baseball team dropped an 18-3 decision to the Cal U Vulcans at Dougherty Field Saturday afternoon. The game was a 9-inning contest played outside of the mandated PSAC schedule, so it did not count in the conference standings.
The Crimson Hawks dropped to 1-6 with the loss while Cal U is 7-3.
The Vulcans scored in each of the first three innings before adding eight runs in the fifth and six more in the seventh.
Markus Cestra had two hits for IUP.
