INDIANA, Pa. – The IUP women's tennis team is back in action with two matches this weekend, traveling to Slippery Rock on Saturday, and returning home to face off against Indiana University East on Sunday.
Both IUP and Slippery Rock enter the weekend with records of 1-2 while Indiana University East has had a shaky start to the season at 2-7.
Saturday's match is scheduled for 1 p.m. while Sunday's start will be at 4 p.m.

>> IUP was on the courts last weekend, soaring past Seton Hill in a 6-1 victory and falling to undefeated Carnegie Mellon a day later in a competitive match.

>> IUP is currently ranked at the No. 2 spot in the Atlantic Region, followed by Slippery Rock at No. 3.
>> The Crimson Hawks have won 10 of the 11 matches against Slippery Rock, dating back to 2010-11 season. On the road, the Hawks are 5-0 against the Rock.
>> Dunarova was the only player on the IUP roster the last time these teams met, when Hawks fell to SRU for the first time.
>> This will be the first meeting between IUP and IU East in a tennis match.
>> The Crimson hawks currently have 12 more regular season matches remaining on the schedule, including five consecutive home matches between now and April 7.
