GREENSBURG, Pa. - The IUP women's lacrosse team couldn't overcome a fast start by No. 23 Seton Hill as the Crimson Hawks fell to the undefeated Griffins 18-9 Saturday afternoon.
It was the second loss in a row for the Crimson Hawks, who dropped to 3-4 overall and 3-3 in PSAC West play. Seton Hill is now 7-0 and 6-0.

Leah Hunter scored three goals and assisted on another.
Freshman
Sarah Reustle scored two goals, added an assist, and three ground balls and three draw controls.
Freshman
Chantal Jimenez assisted on two goals and grabbed eight draw controls.Â
How it happened
Seton Hill got off to a hot start with three goals in the first 3:35.
Katie Hibinger put IUP on the board at the 23:50 mark but the Griffins answered with five straight goals to take an 8-1 lead. IUP added two more goals but went into halftime trailing 10-3.Â
The Hawks grabbed some momentum midway through the second half with three goals in less than a minute -
Sarah Reustle at 18:46,
Emily Elliott at 18:37 and
Leah Hunter at 18:23. Seton Hill came right back with three straight goals and outscored IUP 5-2 the rest of the way to secure the win.
