UPDATE (Thursday, 12:54 p.m.): Due to COVID-19, Central State was forced to drop out of the tournament, thus altering IUP's schedule. The Crimson Hawks will now play St. Augustine's at 10 a.m. and West Virginia State at 12 p.m. on Friday.

INDIANA, Pa. – IUP women's volleyball hits the road for their final regular season tournament, heading to Institute, W.Va. for the West Virginia State Invitational this weekend. With the tournament schedule affected by COVID, the Crimson Hawks are scheduled to play three matches all on Friday - 10 a.m. against Central State, 12 p.m. against West Virginia State, and 6 p.m. against St. Augustine's.
The Crimson Hawks have a 5-4 record on the year, posting 2-2 marks in each of their previous tournaments. Central State is 3-3, West Virginia State is 7-2, and St. Augustine's is 0-3.

Caroline Walsh enters the weekend as one of the PSAC's top hitters, ranking fifth overall with a .329 hitting percentage (39/11/85). Walsh is also 12th in the league with 0.92 blocks per set, tallying 23 (8 solo, 15 assist) on the year.

Nicole Peterson is IUP's top scorer and ranks 11th in the PSAC with 2.96 kills per set. She has six outings of 10+ kills, including a season-high 17 against Shepherd on September 4. She's also hitting .236 on the year.

Leah Henderson tallied a season-high 33 assists in three sets. Henderson ranks 12th in the PSAC with 5.92 assists per set this season.
