GREENSBURG, Pa. - Junior guard
Armoni Foster posted a double-double with 27 points and 12 assists to lead the sixth-ranked IUP men's basketball team to a 100-60 victory at Seton Hill Wednesday night at the McKenna Center.
The Crimson Hawks drained a season-high 18 3-pointers, shot 56 percent from the floor, and led from start to finish in the blowout victory.
It was the fifth straight victory for IUP, which improved to 14-1 overall and 8-1 in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC).
The Hawks scored the game's first 16 points and built a 32-point lead ato 40-8 with 4:23 left in the first half. Nine of their 18 3-pointers came in the first 20 minutes and they held a 24-15 edge on the glass at halftime.
IUP's lead hit 40 points at 80-40 with 6:43 to play in the game and reached as high as 44 points down the stretch.
The Hawks dished out 25 assists on their 37 made buckets and finished 18-of-34 from beyond the arc. They also had a season-high 10 blocks and held a 42-28 rebounding edge.
In addition to his 27 points and career-high 12 assists, Foster also grabbed seven rebounds and had two steals in 38 minutes. He was one of four Hawks to scored in double-figures, as sophomore forward
Ethan Porterfield tied his career-high with 23 points on 9-of-11 shooting. The PSAC's leader in 3-point shooting, he finished 5-of-6 from deep.
Freshman guard
Dallis Dillard stood out with a career-high 19 points on a perfect shooting night - 7-of-7 from the field, including 5-of-5 from 3-point range - in 25 minutes. Junior guard
Dave Morris finished with 13 points on four 3-pointers with seven rebounds and five assists.

IUP entered the game ranked No. 6 in the NABC Coaches and No. 4 in the D2SIDA Media Top 25 polls ... This was IUP's fourth 100-point game of the season ... The 18 3-pointers is tied for the fourth most in program history and the most since sinking 18 against Clarion in 2018 ... Joe Lombardi is now 18-1 all-time against Seton Hill ... IUP is 55-3 in January over the last six seasons, including 30-2 on the road.
