Crimson Hawks fall short at Clarion

CLARION, Pa.- The IUP volleyball team fell short this afternoon against a 16-1 Clarion team.

Through a strong effort on both sides of the ball, the Crimson Hawks were only able to obtain one set (Set 3, 25-21). Clarion seemed prepared to take on this talented IUP team.

Though a disappointing outcome for the hawks, some players stood out on the stat sheet:

Caroline Walsh put down 6 kills with a hitting efficiency of .333, Nicole Peterson had 13 kills on the afternoon, and Leah Henderson tallied in 27 assists.

This loss moves IUP to a 14-3 record, remaining undefeated at home.
