BLOOMSBURG, Pa – The IUP Crimson Hawks took to the court today to compete in the 2022 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Individual Championships at Bloomsburg University. The Hawks won all 10 of their matches going 4-0 in doubles play and 6-0 in singles to reach the doubles semifinals and singles quarterfinals.
The No.1 doubles seeds Kirchtag and Kmoskova beat Gonzalez and Slovak of Slippery Rock 8-3 and went on to beat Del Mar Ojeda and Guldimann of Cal U 8-1 to reach the semifinals.
The No.2 seeds Graydon and Vlachou followed in their teammates footsteps defeating Massaro and Skulsky of West Chester 8-2 in the round of 16 followed by an 8-1 win against Shepherd in the quarterfinals.
Stralka breezed through her first round singles match 6-0, 6-0 and went on to beat Soo of Millersville 6-3, 6-2 to reach the quarterfinals.
Kmoskova defeated Capoferri of Bloomsburg 6-0, 6-2 in the round of 32 and cruised to victory 6-1, 6-1 against Htwar of Millersville.
The reigning champion and No.1 seed Kirchtag also progressed to the singles quaterfinals after defeating Ojeda of Millersville 6-2, 6-3 and Lewis of Kutztown 6-1, 6-1.

The second day of the PSAC championships starts with the semifinal round of the doubles bracket at 9 a.m. Singles quarters will start at 10:45 a.m.
