INDIANA, Pa. – The No. 23-ranked IUP women's tennis team (2-1, 0-0 PSAC) return to action this weekend with an early season divisional matchup against Seton Hill (3-1, 0-0 PSAC). The match is scheduled for Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Greensburg Racquet Club.
This will be the second weekend of action this semester for the Hawks, who defeated Niagara 5-2 and lost to Buffalo 6-1 in a trip to New York last weekend. The Griffins have not yet played a match this spring.

Natasha Munday was the most successful Hawk during spring's opening weekend, going a combined 3-1 including a 6-1, 6-3 victory at the No. 3 singles spot against Buffalo. Munday opened the spring as the No. 38-ranked singles player in Division II.

Karolin Kirchtag is the No. 26-ranked singles player in the country. She split her singles matches last weekend and has a 13-3 record this season with regional and conference titles in the fall.
>> Kirchtag had the most successful individual fall season in program history, capturing the Atlantic Region and PSAC singles and doubles championships at the respective tournaments. She put up a combined 22-5 record, including a streak of 21 straight singles and doubles victories, and competed in the ITA Cup in Georgia.

Katy Graydon was Kirchtag's partner in the fall, winning both regional and league doubles titles, and going 10-3 in doubles play.

Larry Peterson's tenure, with eight wins dating back to the 2010-11 season. Seven of those have been as PSAC West foes and by a combined score of 57-2.
