GREENSBURG, Pa. - The 23rd-ranked IUP women's tennis team cruised to a 7-0 win over Seton Hill in the division opener Saturday afternoon at the Greensburg Racquet Club.
The Crimson Hawks, now 3-1 on the year, gave up just one point in doubles action with 6-0Â wins at the top two spots.
Joanna Stralka and
Karolin Kirchtag earned the shutout win at No. 1 while
Natasha Munday and
Katy Graydon won at No. 2.
Laura Dunarova and
Lydia Vlachou won 6-1 at No. 3.
The dominance continued in singles play with a combined six points given up among all six players. Winners included Kirchtag 6-2, 6-0 at No. 1, Munday 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2, Stralka 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3, Graydon 6-0, 6-1 at No. 4, Dunarova 6-2, 6-0 at No. 5 and Vlachou 6-1, 6-0 at No. 6.Â
