INDIANA, Pa. – The No. 19-ranked IUP women's tennis team (3-1, 1-0 PSAC) continues its early season schedule when they face Division III Carnegie Mellon (4-1) Saturday at the Greensburg Racquet Club. It's currently scheduled for a 3 p.m. start time. 

It's the third weekend of the spring season for the Crimson Hawks, who are coming off an easy 7-0 win over Seton Hill at the same location a week ago. Carnegie Mellon is a traditionally strong Division III team and its only loss this season is a 4-3 defeat at the hands of IUP rival Slippery Rock.

>> The Crimson Hawks boast a pair of top-50 singles players in Karolin Kirchtag at No. 26 and Natasha Munday at No. 38. The two have a combined 22-5 singles record, including 6-1 in dual play. 
>> Carnegie Mellon has a 1-5 record in this series dating back to the 2011-12 season. IUP's only win over the Tartans in that time came in 2017 (5-4) in Pittsburgh. 
>> IUP is 16-6 in February matches since 2015. 
>> The Hawks enter the weekend ranked No. 19 in the ITA Division II poll. It's the highest ranking in program history.
