INDIANA, Pa. - Evansville, Indiana and the Ford Center will host the 2022 NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Championship March 22-26. IUP has returned to the Elite Eight for the seventh time in its illustrious history, and the first time since 2015 when the championship was also in Evansville. 

The Crimson Hawks (32-2) won the Atlantic Region title with a 68-59 victory over Cal U Tuesday night. They are joined in Evansville by seven other regional champions - Bentley (East Region), Augusta (Southeast), Nova Southeastern (South), Hillsdale (Midwest), Northwest Missouri State (Central), Black Hills (South Central), and Chico State (West). 

On Wednesday, the Division II Selection Committee announced the seeds and quarterfinal matchups, with IUP earning the No. 2 seed in the Elite Eight. The Crimson Hawks will face No. 7 seed Hillsdale in the quarterfinals on Tuesday, March 22. Tipoff is 7 p.m. EST / 6 p.m. CST.

The semifinals will be broadcast live on CBS Sports Network with the championship game live on CBS. Please check your channel guide.

Jack Benedict and Tony Coccagna will have the call live on WQMU 92.5 FM, starting with their pregame show. Jack will also host a live pre-tournament show on Monday, March 21 at 6 p.m. EST / 5 p.m. CST.

Pregame reception
Alumni and friends are invited to the pre-game reception prior to tipoff of the Hawks' quarterfinal game against Hillsdale on Tuesday, March 22. The IUP Alumni Office will host the reception at Backstage Bar & Grill located at 524 Main Street, Evansville, IN, 47708, just across from the Ford Center. The reception will start at 4 p.m. and run until game time. Light appetizers will be served and there will be a cash bar.
