INDIANA, Pa. - The IUP women's tennis team picked up a pair of divisional wins on Tuesday by shutting out both Clarion and Edinboro at Maple Street Courts.
The wins gave the Crimson Hawks six straight as they improved to 11-7 overall. They also remained undefeated in divisional play at 4-0.
The Hawks were dominant from top to bottom, surrendering just six sets to Clarion and and 19 to Edinboro across both singles and doubles play.
All six Hawks who saw the court went a combined 4-0 - with 42nd-ranked
Karolin Kirchtag playing at No. 1 singles,
Joanna Stralka playing at No. 2,
Natasha Munday at No. 3,
Katy Graydon at No. 4,
Lydia Vlachou at No. 5 and
Laura Dunarova at No. 6. In doubles play, Munday at Stralka played at No. 1, Kirchtag and Graydon at No. 2, and Vlachou and Dunarova at No. 3.
