INDIANA, Pa. - The IUP softball team lost a pair of 1-run games to Seton Hill on Friday, falling to the Griffins by scores of 2-1 and 3-2 at Podbielski Field.
The scoring was similar in both games, with Seton Hill holding onto 2-run leads before the Crimson Hawks cut their deficit to one run in the sixth inning, but couldn't complete the comeback in either outing.
IUP has now dropped five straight games as it looks to clinch a PSAC postseason spot on the final day of the regular season. The Hawks are now 15-18 overall and 7-7 in PSAC West play. Seton Hill improved to 33-8 overall and 10-4 in the division.

The Hawks came back in the sixth as
Paige Truax led off the inning by beating out an infield single to the pitcher. She would then advance on an infield groundout before scoring two batters later when
Jenna Rhue singled through the right side, making it a 2-1 game. IUP put the tying run on in the seventh but a groundout ended the threat.
