Bloomsburg, Pa - It was a tough day for the Crimson Hawks in the singles bracket on day 3 of the Atlantic Region Championship but Vlachou and Graydon will advanced to the doubles final.

Vlachou and Graydon fought hard in to defeat the #1 seeds Singh and Larsson of Charleston 7-6(2) in the semifinal. Kirchtag and Kmoskova lost in a tough match against Krasikova and Cameron of Charleston 6-4 after coming back from 5-2 down.

Kirchtag was the only IUP player to reach the semifinals after beating Martirosyan of West Liberty 7-5, 6-2. Kmoskova was defeated by the #2 seed Singh (CU) 7-5, 6-1, Graydon narrowly missed out to the #3 seed Dean (MU) 4-6 6-0 12-10, Stralka also lost a three set battle to Arnal from West Chester 0-6, 7-6(4), 10-7.

Kirchtag went on to face Dean (MU) in the semifinals, after dropping the first set 6-4 she came back to win the second 6-2 but fell short in the third set tiebreak 10-7. 

The unseeded pairing of Vlachou and Graydon will be back in action tomorrow for the doubles final.
